Aloft Easton- Boutique Hotel
Commercial Works worked with multiple vendors to coordinate timelines and logistics to receive, deliver and install Fixtures, Furniture & Equipment for a 136 room hotel, including guest rooms, common areas and offices
Due to vendor shortages associated with the 2020 pandemic, no elevator access was available for the first 5 months of the project. Our team utilized a stair carry method along with the use of heavy equipment outside the building to deliver the product to each of 5 floors through a side window.
Unique to this hotel is the utilization of steel construction materials for wall bracing, as opposed to commonly used wood. This presented multiple challenges with the mounting of items in the rooms, and throughout the hotel. Commercial Works together, with the input of manufacturers, assisted the GC with creating a plan to brace and block walls for successful furniture mounting.
